The Science Behind

The company who researched and produced what we refer to as the "miracle ingredient" Yarrowia Lipolytica is a company focusing on implementation of created or purchased modern technologies originating from scientific research projects and their full commercial use on a massive scale.

Since 2007 they have been carrying out research on the use of Yarrowia lipolytica yeast. The Company started a cooperation with leading European scientific centres and universities in the field of studies on microbiological management of post-production fatty residues. That research is a response to the EU-wide need for realisation of industrial waste management and environmental protection policy.

The company currently operates an industrial installation for yeast proliferation and its own laboratory background. The Company employs approx. 30 people working on the development of the technology associated with production of protein concentrates and feed additives based on Yarrowia lipolytica yeast.

According to applicable provisions of law regarding hygiene of feed, manufacturers of materials used for feeding of farm animals, are obliged to implement and observe GMP/GHP, HACCP principles, and are fully responsible for health safety of manufactured feeds.

To meet the law-incurred obligations regarding health and safety of feed yeast manufactured in the plant, its top management personnel has designed and implemented some continuously improved systemic operations. Tools used by the company for realisation of that philosophy are of preventive character, including: GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice), GHP (Good Hygienic Practice) and HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points). Solutions implemented in the plant are highly consistent, and their operation guarantees effectiveness of the system that ensures high health quality of produced feed yeast.
